OUTPOST GROUPS

Uniting and equipping a global movement of truth seekers and bold leaders to embrace their God-given identity and realize their full potential.

OUTPOST GROUPS

A Revolution in Fellowship and Purpose

I used to feel stuck—longing for the deep connection and transformative power of God I read about in Scripture, yet frustrated by the shallow relationships and routines of traditional church settings.

Programs and Sunday services left me feeling like a spectator, part of a system that kept me busy but didn’t empower me. My heart ached for something more—authentic community that fostered real growth and a deeper encounter with God. That’s when the passion ignited to create something different—a space where decentralized leadership empowered truth-seekers to gather on their own terms while staying connected to a greater movement.

Enter The Outlier Brand.

What was missing? Fellowship rooted in authenticity, freedom, shared purpose, and an openness to the tangible presence and power of God.

Outpost Groups came alive from this vision—a way to step out of the noise of the world and into a space where God’s presence is not just a concept but a reality, where real connection happens, and spiritual transformation takes root.

These groups are more than gatherings; they’re a movement to reclaim what institutional systems often fail to provide—genuine fellowship that transforms lives and builds something greater.

Are You Ready To Join The Movement?

“where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:20

WHAT IS AN OUTPOST GROUP?

An Outpost group is when two or more are gathered intentionally for the purpose of hearing God and ushering in the power of His kingdom.

An Outpost group is when two or more are gathered intentionally for the purpose of hearing God and ushering in the power of His kingdom.

How Are Outpost Groups Different from Church Small Groups?

Focuses on Hearing God's Voice – The goal is to know God personally, not just learn about Him. The primary purpose is to hear directly from God rather than simply gathering to discuss a teaching about God.

A Spirit-Led Community – Outpost groups create a safe space to exercise faith and access the supernatural power of God in tangible ways. Unlike traditional groups led by a sole leader, these groups encourage participation by all who gather and are guided by the Holy Spirit, fostering deeper connection and spirit-led growth.

Prioritize Experiencing God’s Presence – The emphasis is on encountering God’s power and glory in the moment for clarity, refreshing, and a deeper connection with Him, rather than engaging in surface-level conversation or casual fellowship alone.

An Autonomous Movement – Outpost groups prioritize movement over systems and conviction over programs. They operate independently, driven by the participants’ desire to grow in their faith, rather than being controlled or structured by an external entity like a church or pastor. This allows for organic spiritual growth, flexibility, and a dynamic response to God’s leading.

As a result of these principles, outpost groups naturally foster authentic vulnerability among believers. This openness creates genuine relational connections, builds trust, and encourages a deeper sense of community rooted in faith and mutual support united in spirit.

WHY OUTPOST GROUPS MATTER

Outpost Groups answer the deep yearning for KOINONIA—a Greek word describing close, intimate fellowship marked by shared purpose and mutual encouragement. They reclaim the simplicity and power of the early church by focusing on:

  • Community Over Programs: Genuine relationships that transcend surface-level connections.

  • Empowerment Over Control: Decentralized leadership that encourages every member to grow and contribute.

  • Encounter Over Routine: A hunger for God’s power to transform lives in real, tangible ways.

THE OUTPOST GROUP MODEL

Minimum Requirement - Two People: The beauty of an Outpost Group is that it starts small—just two or three people are enough to create a space where God is present. This simplicity ensures that no one feels intimidated or overwhelmed by the idea of starting a group.

Fellowship and Growth: Outpost Groups embrace the spirit of Acts 2:42, creating an environment for authentic relationships, shared teaching, prayer, and breaking bread together. The goal is unity and transformation through shared experiences.

Spirit-Filled Encounters: Outpost Groups prioritize inviting God’s tangible presence into every gathering. This means expecting His power to move through prayer, worship, testimonies, and acts of faith.

Why Christianity Isn’t the Way to Jesus—And Never Was

June 09, 20253 min read

Understanding the Kingdom as a Realm, Not a Religion

For a long time, the words Christian and follower of Jesus have been treated like they mean the same thing. But they don’t. And they never did.

If you’re feeling tension in your faith—if something about the system doesn’t sit right with your spirit—you’re not crazy. You’re not backsliding. You’re waking up.

Let’s make it simple.

Christianity Was Man-Made. The Kingdom Was God’s Plan From The Beginning.

Christianity as a religion didn’t come from Jesus. It came after Him—built by people trying to organize, systematize, and control what He made simple: walking with the Father, empowered by the Spirit, and living from identity.

Religion always needs a structure.

The Kingdom is a realm.

A living, present, powerful dimension of authority, freedom, and sonship.

Why It’s Hard for Christians to See This

For centuries, faith in Jesus has been wrapped in Christianity. So tightly, in fact, that many believe leaving Christianity means leaving God.

But Jesus didn’t start Christianity.

He exposed religion.

He revealed the Kingdom.

“Religion hijacked your purpose, power, and passion. But the Kingdom invites you to take it all back.” — The Good Cult

It’s hard to untangle from something that’s been your identity. But the truth is: Christianity, from its very beginning, was a substitute. A safe, cultural counterfeit that replaced Kingdom power with performance, control, and guilt.

What’s the Difference?

Christianity says:

  • Go to church.

  • Follow the rules.

  • Submit to leadership.

  • Do more to be approved.

The Kingdom says:

  • You are a son.

  • You carry authority.

  • The Spirit lives in you.

  • Walk with the Father. Every day.

Christianity builds churches.

The Kingdom builds people.

It’s Not About Being “Anti-Church”

This isn’t rebellion. It’s realignment.

If Jesus came to reveal the Kingdom and expose religion—why would we try to follow Him by joining a religion He never endorsed?

It’s not about throwing stones. It’s about coming home.

To the Father.

To Jesus.

To the power of the Holy Spirit—alive in you, not confined to a stage or a system.

“You weren’t created to strive for approval. You were made to walk in freedom, to know you are deeply loved as a son or daughter of God.” — The Good Cult

What Repentance Really Means

Repentance isn’t about trying harder.

It’s about changing how you think.

It’s leaving behind:

  • Shame-based religion

  • External performance

  • A spiritual identity outsourced to someone else

And returning to:

  • Direct relationship with God

  • The reality of His Kingdom

  • Life led by presence, not pressure

You’re not here to be a good church member.

You’re here to be a carrier of the Kingdom.

The Invitation

If this resonates—if you’ve felt like something’s off with the system but didn’t have the words for it—this is your confirmation.

You’re not here to fit in.

You’re here to rise.

Join us in The Outlier’s Way.

It’s not a new system. It’s a way of life—rooted in identity, purpose, and presence.

We’re building real community for those who are done playing church and ready to walk in the realm of the Kingdom.
